24 May 2004 – This is another smiling face we came across on the road. Imdad is a tenant farmer in the Hazara region of Afghanistan. He gets a quarter of the crops he grows with the remainder going to his landlord. He owns 23 sheep, which his young son tends high up in the mountains.
